如何善用共同工作空間提高生產力?

由於價格不貴,讓人們在使用筆電工作的同時還能保有社交,共同工作空間近來變得越來越受歡迎。儘管在家工作有很多優點,但有時你會感到懶散而轉而去做其他事,像是每個小時就到廚房翻翻看有沒有什麼東西好吃。

Lately, coworking spots have become very popular, since they are affordable and allow people to feel social while working on their laptops.Working from home has a lot of benefits, but sometimes it can make youfeel lazyand switch to doing other things, like going to the kitchen every hour and looking for something tasty.

以下是三個善用共同工作空間讓你提升生產力,並能更樂於工作的好處:

1.工作/生活平衡

儘管上面已經提過,在家工作固然有些優點,像是不需要花費交通上的時間與金錢,可以不必花時間在淋浴、早餐、搭巴士或公車,一起床就可以馬上開始工作。

As we've already mentioned, working from home has its benefits. For example, you don't have to waste time and money on transportation, you can wake up and start working immediately without wasting time on shower, breakfast, taking bus or train, etc.

然而,在家工作會讓你感到孤單與無精打采(lethargic),坐在筆電前一整天不動,也會讓你體重上升,感覺自己越來越孤僻跟懶散。選擇到共同空間工作則能給你一些動力,讓自己看起來有精神一點、到市區晃一晃,與人碰面並感覺更有生產力。

However, working from home can make you feel lonely and lethargic. Sitting in front of your laptop for the whole day and not moving can lead to you gaining weight, feeling antisocial and lazy. Choosing to work in a coworking space will motivate you to look good, move around the city, meet people and feel productive.

 2.人際網絡的力量

在共同工作空間認識人可能會對你帶來很多幫助,你會有很多機會遇見各種不同技能專長的人,與他們合作或者從他們身上學習,這是在家工作不可能發生的。

Meeting people in coworking sites can be very useful for you. You have a high chance to meet people with different skills whom you can cooperate with or learn from. This would never happen if you work from home.

如果你是個作家,你可以與編輯或譯者共同協作,共同工作空間提供像你一樣不想在大公司上班的人一個很棒的空間,讓你仍然能夠身處在一個有人的環境,你們能夠在此相遇、聊天、交流思想並從他們身上學習。

If you are a writer, you can meet editors and translators to cooperate with. Coworking spots are perfect places for people like you, whodon't want to work for big companies. It's like you are on your own but surrounded by people, so you can meet them, chat with them, share ideas, and learn from them.

當在共同工作空間工作時,你的生產力會因此提升,身邊的人都正忙碌於敲打鍵盤、做筆記或打電話時,也會促使你認真工作,讓其他人的能量為你帶來工作的動力。

While spending working hours in a coworking space, your productivity will boost. Being around busy people who are typing, making notes and talking on their phones will push you to work. Get motivated by the energy of other people.

 

3. 一個合適的環境

工作空間的環境佈置對生產力有很重大的影響,如果你習慣在床上工作,可能沒辦法完成太多工作。共同工作空間提供像是辦公室的空間與合適的傢俱,像是能夠讓背部保持適當位置的桌椅。

Your workspace setup plays a big role in your productivity. If you got used to working in bed, then you probably don't do much work. Coworking spaces provide office-like rooms with proper furniture, like good tables and chairs for the correct back position.

坐姿也可能會影響生產力,因此如果你無法在家完成一項大專案,也許是你坐在沙發上,或是臥躺在筆電前面的緣故,很多人忽略了腿或背部的疼痛可能會導致分心。

The way you sit and feel has a big impact on your productivity. So, if you can't manage to complete big tasks at home, maybe it's because you sit on a sofa or lie on your stomach in front of your laptop. Most people don't notice how distracting pain in the legs or back can be.

與其把家裡佈置得像是工作空間,不妨試試到共同空間工作一週,可能會因此感受到那裡有多舒服,有時你甚至能夠付費獲得一個固定的專屬位置。

Instead of setting up a working place at home, try using a coworking space for at least a week. You will enjoy it because it's really comfortable there, you can even pay for a certain place that will be just yours.

因此如果能夠善用工作空間,將可能為你提高收入(因為效率提升了)、對工作感到更滿意,還能因此認識新朋友,並更享受在家的時光--因為當你在家時就不會想到工作的事了。
