Startup Scout Internship

We are looking for a high-potential and ambitious student to join our team as an Innovation Program Intern. You'll work in our dedicated Scouting Team (part of TNW X) to optimize and execute our startup sourcing strategy. This means that you dive deep into the world of the newest technologies and business models and that you will learn how to assess their commercial potential and quality.

Your role

• Speak to innovative startup founders from all over the world;

• Identifying new scouting platforms & keeping up to date information on those platforms;

• Researching and scraping different startup databases, social media platforms, events and conferences, and other parts of startup ecosystems for startups that fit our programs;

• Setting up an efficient system for capturing incoming startup related data;

• Rating startups based on each program’s criteria;

• Creating tactics and templates for reaching out to startups;

• Working together with the team members in order to establish the structural flow of information and a clear protocol for sourcing startups.

Your profile

• Being registered as a student during the course of the internship;

• Being available for at least 5 months starting in September 2019;

• A special interest and/or experience in innovation/technology/startups;

• A ton of enthusiasm for TNW's mission in supporting the best startups;

• Fluency in English;

• Being able to work with data.
