Senior Cloud Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• To design, build and maintain scalable, high performance and mission critical API services for Razer

• To continuously improving the write test cases and improve on the code coverage

• To deliver solutions within the project specified dates and according to the processes defined

• To work with the SRE/QA teams to investigate and resolve issues reported

Pre-Requisites

• Minimum 5 years of working experience on developing backend API for internet users in production environment

• Have completed at least 2 mid to large size projects

• Passionate about technologies and familiar with some of the following: caching, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, MongoDB, message queue, WebSocket, ELK stack, gRPC and GraphQL

• Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Node.js, Python and PHP

• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services cloud platform

• Good understanding in programming for large internet traffic, with knowledge of best practices for high scalability, non-blocking, events-driven, concurrency and security
