Job Description:
Funding Societies is looking for an Engineering Manager, Infrastructure Security to join our security team and lead efforts to build, automate and secure infrastructure.
As an infrastructure security engineering manager, you will design security solutions which are easy to use and effective in the long run, monitor threats and vulnerabilities and provide several levels of protections to our complete infrastructure.You’ll focus intently on optimizing tooling and workflows to reduce ambiguity and manual burden.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, and retain high performing and diverse team of infrastructure security engineers and architects.
lead a team of high-performing DevSecOps engineers developing solutions to design, automate and implement security best practices across all Funding Societies infrastructure.
Implement a cohesive strategy for the development of infrastructure security policies; proactively identify critical security issues and recommend risk-reduction solutions.
Build out long term security strategies, initiatives and new capabilities
Develop a roadmap for those initiatives, track progress against it, and evaluate the team's performance.
Hold your own in technical discussion, be a subject matter authority, and have strategic influence.
Identify and remediate security gaps using industry best practices and automated solutions.
Provide advice on security best practices, and guide teams in developing, adopting and enforcing security standards within the organization.
Implement the latest security tools and techniques that improve the security posture of the organization.- Perform periodic reviews and monitor networks, analyze logs and systems in order to prohibit unauthorized use, prevent loss of critical information, and maintain service availability.
Build out compliance automation by developing in-house tools as well as evaluating and deploying third party products by doing PoCs.
Participate in external and internal audits and bring them to successful completion.
Requirements
Required qualifications:
Experience recruiting and leading technical teams, including performance management.
Strong understanding of Linux and Network security in depth.
Strong foundation and in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, authentication and security protocols and applied cryptography.
Passionate about security, enjoy challenges and maintain up-to-date knowledge of available and emerging security threats and various security technologies.
Strong knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or other cluster management software
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organization.
Experience translating technical concepts into language that is relevant to many audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leaders and external security community members and press.
BA/BS in Computer Science or 4+ years work experience.
