Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

For YouTube Subscription team, our mission is to build a world-class funnel, scale music globally and driving TV in the US. We want to make sure our current processes are driving successful and efficient metrics before going through and using more spend on new features and new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead partnership marketing for YouTube’s paid-subscription business in Asia Pacific, focusing on Japan and Korea.

  • Lead the co-marketing plan strategy and planning with partners to make an impact among consumers and drive the business results.

  • Work with multiple stakeholders internally with global counterparts and teams.

 

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of marketing strategy, brand marketing, growth marketing and or creative agency experience.

  • Ability to speak and write in English, Japanese, and Korean fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience of combining great consumer marketing with rigorous data-driven optimization to drive fast, efficient, and healthy growth for the business

  • Experienced in B2B or B2B2C marketing.

  • Collaborative, innovative and enjoying talking to external partners.

  • Knowledge of YouTube’s ecosystem (e.g. user, creator, advertiser).

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced dynamic environment.

  • Excellent leadership, influencing and communication skills, with demonstrated talent for building and managing collaborative partnerships with third party agencies and cross-functional teams.
